Frequently Asked Questions

I’m here to answer all your burning questions about my process + services

  • Why do I need a full-service stationery designer? I can just order online or go to a local paper shop.

You wouldn’t order your florals from your grocery store, would you? Wedding invitations + stationery have a lot of nuance and detail. You want a professional point person on the job! It may seem simple to order from a website or just pick a design from a book at a local paperie, but then all the details after you hit “checkout” or pay at the cash register fall on you. My mission is to make the process fun + stress free for my couples! I do this by creating timelines, advising on wording, etiquette, and anything else you need help with for your wedding. We are together from start to finish!

  • I am not local to Connecticut or Los Angeles. Can I still work with you?

Absolutely! Though many of my projects are Connecticut weddings and Los Angeles wedding invitations, I work with couples across the country! Everything is done over email and phone with me anyway. But I do send you lovely paper samples to look through and keep for yourself!

  • Can I work with you on my other paper needs beyond save the dates + invitations?

Yes! I strive to create full wedding paper stories with all my couples, and offer everything from menus + programs to beach towels + custom napkins.

  • How much should I expect to spend on my wedding stationery?

Roseville couples typically spend $3,000-$8,000 on all their paper goods, which can include save the dates, invitations + day-of stationery. Every couple’s needs are different, which is why I always put together a custom proposal after we have our phone consultation.

  • What print methods do you offer?

I offer digitally-printed wedding invitations, as well as foil, engraving, thermography, and letterpress invitations. Sky’s the limit!

  • I don’t have this fully-developed vision for my wedding just yet. Am I a bad bride/groom?

Not in the least! My job is to talk with you and get a sense of your personality and style. I don’t need a perfectly curated Pinterest board to serve you wholeheartedly (though I am always happy to see one if it exists!).

  • Will you work with my wedding planner or coordinator?

Yes! I like to be involved in the big picture of your wedding, so I will always work closely with your other wedding vendors to ensure a seamless process + cohesive design!
