Ellen + Bobby | Watercolor Crest Longshore Pavilion Summer Wedding
So as I am going through my drafts folder, I realized that somehow I never published Ellen + Bobby’s Watercolor Crest Longshore Pavilion Wedding! I have to apologize for holding out on you, because this one is a stunner!
Ellen + Bobby were a dream to work with from start to finish. From our first phone chat, Ellen knew exactly the look they wanted. er quick email responses and easygoing vibe were just the icing on the cake! She wasn’t looking for anything frivolous or overly done. She knew from the get-go they wanted to do a watercolor crest, and my semi-custom crest was the perfect package for them. We incorporated those rich blues + bright pinks, and used elements of the crest in the save the date. We wanted guests to know they were in for a colorful + elegant affair!
Ellen + Bobby got married at The Longshore Pavilion, which is a beautiful venue right on the coast in Connecticut. Their wedding was the epitome of soft + romantic, the perfect feel for an outdoor tented summer wedding.
For their wedding invitation suite, we unveiled the full crest. We used those colorful florals throughout the suite, and tied it all together with a thing hand-dyed silk navy ribbon. Their day-of items included menus, favor donation cards, and lots of wood signage (which was the perfect complement to their colorful palette).
Bobby is a Darien firefighter, and they got some great shots of the two of them on the truck! They also managed to incorporate their adorable pooch.
